Idea 

For several years urban games have been  gaining an expanding an enormous group of fans around the world. Also, many Polish cities from time to time become a big game board. One of them is Poznań, where since 2006, players face in games variety of topics, from Middle Ages through the establishment of the city Poznan; the Wielkopolska Uprising and history of breaking of the Enigma Code, until the football and cycling games.

In Poznan, was created the first touristic game. It is dedicated for tourists, so they can have fun and learn at the same time, while visiting Poznan city, but also for people who live here. In 2011, Poznan became the first city, which was devoted a board game which tells the story of its creation.

What's going on?

With the beginning of the New Year, we start our efforts to establish a second edition of LETSPLAYPOZNAN.PL. We expect plenty of activities for players of all ages and and all physical conditions - you will be able to play on your own or with your family and friends. We are also working on the innovative system for parents with children that allows to benefit from a full festival program.

What to play? 

This you will find out, among others, on this page and our facebook profile. Here is what we prepare for you:

• urban games prepared by Polish and foreign authors
• improved versions of the best board games in urban areas (including Mushrooming in its new incarnation)
• well known from the first edition, games for self playing
• and many other attractions that will be continuously displayed on this page and on www.facebook.com/letsplaypoznan

Workshops

With the second edition of the festival, there will also be the second edition of the workshop of the creation of urban games. They will be run by the organizers and producers from Poland and from other countries. To avoid the crowds, we decided, as in the previous edition, to carry records electronically. Number of places is limited, so if you are determined, and you want to know how to organize the game in town (or maybe just to win one finally  :-) ), we invite you to download and fill in  this form. Afterwards, you should send it to warsztaty@letsplaypoznan.pl
